 We've been working hard at it for quite a long time, but today we hit culmination point of all that hard work, with Louis' very last rally qualification to give him his Rally Obedience Championship. As if his name wasn't a mouthful already it is now Supreme Ch & Dual Ch (RO) C'est Louis Armstrong des Chevaloupsgreg CD RAE HSAs (Imp USA).
You can never quite plan when that last pass will arrive, although he has been pretty consistent this year, so I did have my hopes this would be it. But largely it is fate I think that had him earning his last at our own club grounds at Ballaarat Obedience Dog Club, on the ground her first set foot into a rally ring the judge (Y Ross) who first walked us through a course, and with the ring steward who I travelled with to our very first go at masters and who cheered me on along the way. It certainly felt right! Not only that, but he was almost perfect for the occasion, bringing his A game, and earning a fantastic score of 99. His best since competing at the masters level. So super proud of my boy!
