Taija was the keeper from our much anticipated litter from Emmi and Louis. She was the little pup who stole my heart from almost the beginning, and I still remember laying in the puppy pen, her sitting on my chest and gazing at me with adoration.  She was hard to resist! She went to live with Cherelle, and her older Lappie boy Willoughby, with the intent to join me in the show ring when she could.

She grew into a strong girl, with amazing movement, and great showmanship. Although not shown frequently, she had some great wins, with a Melbourne Royal Bitch Challenge, and a specialty reserve bitch challenge win under Swedish breed specialist Ambjorn Lindqvist.

We were only able to have the one litter with her, and she is the mother of our two stunning Fireopal boys.

While long retired, she did return to the show ring for a brief period to earn her Neuter title, with multiple Neuter in Groups and Shows, but now lives a life of couch cuddles.
