​Obi was a puppy who caught our eye from very early on, first with his handsome head, and then with the rest of him as he grew and developed.

He reminds me a lot of his great grandma Emmi's lines, at many of his milestones reminding me of her daughter Kira, and with flashes of a number of dogs connected to that pedigree.

There was also something adorably irresistible about him from very early, and I almost always found myself snuggling him.  I thought he was going to be the least confident of the pups, but then burst out of his shell, and once I started some training with them, boy oh boy his smarts were amazing at times.

I started to make tentative murmurings about keeping him, but in reality I really expected the outcome that ended up happening ... that grandma Shell would come visit the pups to take home Slinky, and just wouldn't be able to resist him.

And so he lives in NSW with the Pawformance gang and we watch with eagerness to see the achievements he has ahead.
