First show for Avicii (Armahani Lapis Lazuli Lurjus), who turned 3 months on Wednesday, today at the Heidelberg and District Kennel Club where he was awarded a really nice Best Baby Puppy in Group by judge R Lucas (NSW) who declared him to be a lovely pup with a lot of promise.
So much fun to be back in the ring with a baby!
It is with a really heavy and broken heart that we say goodbye to our precious Tahvo who joined his mum Emmi today and is no doubt being brought very strictly into line!

Always one of everyone’s favourites, he left my arms as a 12 week old puppy 7 years ago now. My main memory of that day was crying uncontrollably at Jetpets as we saw him off (much to the concern of those with me).
The pain of separation very quickly turned to multiple moments of joy and pride as he surpassed over and over again all I could ever imagine in both the USA and Canada (and as his progeny follow in his footsteps).
My very deepest condolences to owners Kathy Knapp, Gene Hayes and Linda Marden and also to his Canadian handler Connie Krohn as you deal with his loss way too soon. Thank you Kathy for giving Tahvo your love and care for so many years and trying so hard to save him in the end.
Rachael and Benni (Ch Armahani Heliodorr Hulivili (AI) ET) were out showing again today at the Hobart Kennel Club, where Benni received his 10th Runner Up Best in Group for the year (and 23rd in total).
But far more importantly, he also earned the last points he needed to become Grand Champion Benni!
Way to go Rachael. We're so incredibly proud of you both and all you have accomplished together.
Another Best in Group for Benni (Ch Armahani Heliodorr Hulivili (AI) ET) today at the Conformation Judges Training Committee champ show.
It's getting so close now!
Twenty one months since the last time we were in a performance ring, a major injury, diagnosis, recovery, rehab and re-training, and Baby (Am Ch Ch Calaban's Dirty Dancing RA ET JC (Imp USA) and I finally got brave enough to step back into the ring again today at the Geelong Obedience Club in Rally Excellent for the first time.
It was probably a bit early given she's still at the tail end of one of her dreadful phantoms (read ... "hasn't wanted to get out of bed for three months"), and the second trial showed she doesn't have her trial-endurance up again yet ... but I was still pretty darn proud of her.
She earned two Excellent A quallies, with scores of 99 (and 2nd place) and 86 (3rd place).
Our young performance superstar Leevi (Armahani Kunzite Kuutamo (AI) RA JD ET HT) added another couple of letters after his name today, earning his Junior Courser (JC) title, joining both his mother and sister.
The last couple of months have been very quite for us on the show and sports front while we concentrated on raising our four Lapis Lazuli babies.
An adorable litter, who were easy to raise, smart as buttons, funny and adorable, the last left us yesterday leaving us with a fairly quite house, plenty of sleep last night (!) and a lot of cleaning up to do!
Sadie (Armahani Lapis Lazuli Lemmitty) - she goes to live with Nick and Anita who are keen to explore any and all activities they can do with her. She may join us in the show ring in the future.
Flynn (Armahani Lapis Lazuli Leijona) - he goes to live with Renee and her family, where he will be very much loved as he helps to fill the gap in their life after the passing of their beloved lappie Mika.
Kira (Armahani Lapis Lazuli Loimuta) - she goes to live with Tanja with lots of country and bushwalking adventures ahead of her, and potentially some other doggie activities as well. She may also join us in the show ring in the future.
Avicii (Armahani Lapis Lazuli Lurjus) - he goes to live with Samantha who has a multitude of dogs spots planned for this crazy crazy boys training future. He may also join us in the show ring in the future.
Best of luck to these new families as they bond with their babies, and help them reach their wonderful future potential.
