​Wicket is a boy who ticked all the boxes from early in the piece, incredibly typy and handsome, and very much what I had hoped for and expected from the combination of the two lines.

I held off deciding what to do with him for a long time, as I had a huge waiting list of potential homes, but not quite the right one for the future I thought he could have.

Just as I was about to specifically advertise him, my good friend Alicia, after years of being on the outskirts of the lappie craziness of our circle of friends, put her hand up for him. And the rest is history.

A really delightful, smart, confident and playful pup, with just a hint of stubbornness to make him truly interesting, he is fast becoming Alicia's best boy, and I look forward to having him join me in the show rings when we finally get back out! If I don't, I'm pretty sure honorary-Auntie Rachael Holloway of Zuleika Finnish Lapphunds will fly over specifically to take his lead out of my hand!
