Loki, or Loki Bear, as he is affectionately known, was our big fat teddy bear in the litter, named Baloo, who it was absolutely impossible not to kiss and cuddle. I remember exclaiming to a friend "even his head is fat!" when he was about two weeks of age, and he stuck out amongst his siblings. At birth he was one of those pups who looked more like his sire than his sire did, although as he developed, I could see that he was actually different from Tortik as a pup.

With all that, it is hardly a surprise that I fell for him hard. When he was the one running to you with all sort of delightful submissive happy wriggles, all you could do was sweep him into your arms.

In the end I had to go with my head and not my heart, and knowing the circumstances just weren't quite right, I offered him to Nicole and Chris, who have been on the periphery of the Armahani family with a very long time with their Louis son Dexter.

Nicole has shown Loki as her first show dog to some success, and he has also joined me for a few specialties with great success.

He is available at stud to approved bitches
