Fantastic fun today at the Big Day Out for Dogs held by Dogs Victoria at KCC Park.  I was there with the Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria stand, so Emmi, Louis and Baby got to come along and be tortued with their usual once a year humiliating Christmas photo experience!  Although I think it is Emmi who really has something to say about the whole process.

While looking after the stand, we also got to take some breaks for Baby to try out some lure coursing and tunnel games, for some Christmas shopping, and of course to catch up with plenty of Lappies, including a number of the Armahani crew.

Squiggle (Ch Neut Ch Armahani Diamond Danust (AI) CCD RA JD HT ET JC FM ) and her young daughter Slinky (Armahani Iolite Ihana (AI)) were out in force with owner Shell in Sydney tonight.  Slinky earned her first fingie with a Best Minor in Group under Mrs L Brandt at the NSW Women's Dog Club, with Squiggle following it up with Runner Up Neuter in Group!

We had a "sort of" day off, but kept busy taking Baby (Am Ch Ch Calaban's Dirty Dancing RN (Imp USA)) to the eye vet for her annual check and clearance, and then the pleasure of visiting Kajo's (Armahani Heliodorr Hohde (AI)) puppies at Lempo Kennels.

It was quite the weekend for us in the show ring.  Starting on Saturday with Bennigan (Ch Armahani Heliodorr Hulivili (AI)) going Runner Up Best in Group in Tasmania, and his little "sister" Fleur (Armahani Iolite Ilo (AI)) taking Best Minor Puppy in Group at two shows! A big congratulations to Rachael!

The next day it was our turn in Melbourne at the Summer Spectacular, under our judge from Sweden, Z Salijevic, I got to handle Loki (Armahani Iolite Ilolas (AI)) to Best Minor Puppy in Group.  Loki has had a pretty special show career so far with several class in groups and show, this being his first in minor.  Congratulations Tracey!

At the same show, I got to cheer on Mischa (Ch & Neut Ch Armahani Bloodstone Bilaidit RE) to Best Neuter in Group, and then one better taking out Runner Up Best Neuter in Show.  Congratulations to Shareen and Mish's handler Robyn.
