Yesterday we had our last trial, before puppy duties start, at the Border Collie Club of Victoria and Working Dog Club of Victoria group 5 obedience and rally trials. Huge thanks to the clubs and all their hard working team. After a few very silly stuff ups on my behalf recently (including yesterday 😬 - the tiredness is real!) Baby gained her 7th rally masters quallie to gain her RM title, with a score of 90 and a 3rd place. This one was a pretty cool family affair with 2nd place going to my Aunt Pauline and her clever border collie Chester To top it off Baby also earned her first two formal obedience quallies (and my first in a LOT of years) in the CCD ring, with 96 and a 4th place on countback, and a 92 and 1st place.

A triple tricks trial in Bendigo this weekend saw Baby earn her Novice Tricks title (the second of the ANKC titles) and a soon small adjustment to her name to make it Am Ch Ch CIB Calaban's Dirty Dancing RE TK.N ET JC (Imp USA). She received scores of 66.5, 70.8 and 75.3. Now to decide which tricks we will do for the Intermediate class. |
