Violet was the only girl amongst a group of boys in her litter. So there was never any doubt she was going to grow into a strong character with plenty of attitude. She caught our eye from fairly early on, with a very pretty yet strong head.
She continued to grow into an exceptionally pretty pup, strong and one of the larger in her litter, but with no questioning that she was all girl. Other than that, she takes after (all boy) sire quite a bit, and it will be interesting to see if that continues as she becomes older. She lives with her dam Vaalia and uncle Vegas, and will be joining us at shows east of Melbourne when she can. I suspect she is going to keep us all on our toes! Sadly Violet was diagnosed with cataracts at 19 months of age. She will not be bred from, and so is retired from the show ring and from our breeding program to have a relaxed life in her family home |
