 Simone Dillon and I took the long outback drive to Broken Hill this weekend to enjoy some real country showing At the Silver City Kennel Club shows. While I used to do the Broken Hill shows quite regularly when I was a Mildura local, it has been a super long time, and I must say it was lovely to be back and see so many familiar faces.
Both dogs had a super weekend. Tortik (Ch Armahani Heliodorr Halu (AI) RN JC) walked away with a Best in Group and Aus Bred in Group under judge M Derbyshire (NSW), and Aus Bred in Group under judge V Morrow (NSW) and a Runner Up Best in Group and Aus Bred in Group under judge M Hoy (NSW). Piper (Armahani Kunzite Kruunu (AI)) was awarded two Junior in Groups under V Morrow and M Hoy. But most importantly she ended the weekend with enough points to be have earned her Australian Championship title! Way to go Piper!!
