A number of years ago, I was looking into importing semen from Viksu's grandsire. Like many of these things, it was a plan which didn't eventuate, and it had been a long time since I had even thought about it, before I started noticing his very handsome grandson.
Viksu is a very striking male, with a delightful expression from his standout "teddy-bear" like head. He's a smaller boy in height, but with good strength, nice structure and lovely breed type. He has a cheeky nature, which shines through in every photo, and has had a very successful show career in Finland. He is another boy with very different lines from my current dogs, and at the time of his collection a completely different pedigree from the Finnish Lapphunds in Australia (although a son of his has since been imported), so gives me some exciting out-cross potential.
