The last time I was importing semen from a bunch of boys in Finland, I ummed and ahhed over the possibility of importing from Pate for quite some time. In the end the timing just wasn't right, and it didn't happen, and so I put him largely out of my mind.
Flash forward a couple of years and my friend Shareen, from Caleebra Kennels started asking me again if I was interested in him. In true me style, I continued to um and ahh until Shareen put me out of my misery and took the decision out of my hands. I'm thinking that should be the way I make all of my importing decisions, because I'm very pleased she kicked my butt down the path to ensuring we shared a bit of Pate to come into the country. With some of my old favourite Lumiturpa dogs behind him it is exciting to have him here indeed. |
