Karhu is the puppy who I just couldn't look past. I wasn't necessarily planning on keeping a pup from the litter at home, with the timing not exactly conducive, but I had kept an open mind if the right puppy came along.
And it seems he did! It was "my little Alan" that tugged on the heart strings in the whelping box, but when I started placing pups on the table it was clear there was more than just a heartbreaker in front of me. A lovely combination of his parents .... that pup that just brings together the strengths of the two and the pieces of the puzzle that you hoped to improve, he really is an exciting boy. I thought he might have ended up a little laid back to be quite the sports star of his mum, but the crazy and naughty has certainly emerged, and he has attitude for days. He has hit the showring with a real bang, catching the eye of a number of judges with his star quality. I think we are going to have a lot of fun together! |
