I have been a long admirer of Ressi, with his stunning head, coat and bone, and fantastic working ability - he is the first Finnish Lapphund to ever gain a working trial championship. I started speaking to his owner Taina Miettinen about getting semen from Ressi a couple of years ago, deciding to finalise arrangements when I visited in March 2007. I was just astounded to see those incredibly qualities in the flesh!

The history of my first interest in Topi is a long one, first hearing about him when I had only just entered the world of Lapphunds from a UK breeder who had seen and was awed by him on a visit to a Finnish Specialty, to the coincidence of discovering he was owner by the same person who was raising my Emmi, to finally being able to see this handsome solid boy in the flesh when I visited myself, to finally deciding that I just had to include him in my own breeding program and arranging for semen to be imported here.

Rev is highly successful male Finnish Lapphund in the UK whom I have admired for a very long time. Both a specialty and Crufts BOB and BOS winner, his qualities have been recognised both locally, and by Finnish specialists. I met Rev in the UK in 2007, and he just delighted me with his conformation, showmanship and cheeky attitude. I also had the pleasure of meeting his sire on the same occasion, who was also delightfully naughty! At one stage I was seriously thinking of importing one of Rev's grand-pups, but recently thought to change the plan slightly. Huge thanks to Elaine of Glenchess Kennels for making that dream a reality.
